Alison Uttley’s book ‘The Country Child’ is the inspiration for this new play. Following sell out shows at Derby Theatre, Cromford’s most famous daughter and her childhood at Castle Top Farm are recalled using her memories, stunning visuals and music. The setting of St Mary’s church adds to the atmosphere.
